ETA: Whoa, guys. I didn't leave over drama or people being insulting or anything, so chill out. I posted months ago that this account was being put into stasis and just got around to it yesterday, so this isn't really sudden or anything.

The short version is, my life has been careening in a new direction as of the past year or so and after a lot of hard work and strife. I changed from being an animator to art education, and decided that my online life needed to be cleaned up. That includes my gallery, with a lot of artwork that I consider way below my current skill level and not something I want representing me online.

That, and...well, I'm just not the same artist I was a few years ago, and the site has changed a lot, too. It was a fun ride, but dA has gotten very, very crowded, and unless you're a Big Name, the exposure is minimal. But to everyone who did watch and enjoy my work, thank you! I may be back sometime in the future, but for now I'm not sure. I do have a public writing and art blog that I have been building up, though, so I may link there eventually. If not, look around BlogSpot for Artasaurus Rex. That'd be me.

About time I explained why I dropped off the face of the Earth, right?

To be honest...I just got bored with the site. I've had less and less time for art that doesn't directly relate to university for over a year outside of trades and other stuff, and most of those have been tossed onto my FA since I keep my anthro art there and everything else here.

To everyone that faved and commented my works while I was gone, thank you. I don't have the time to respond to every single message that people left me, so here's a big collective thanks. Not to mention I was pretty much copy-pasting my "thank you" messages on the WoW stamps, and don't really think I need to do that 33 or more times.

Also, I'm going to be making some changes in my gallery, so you may want to pay attention. Here, I'll put it in caps. ABOUT 70-90% OF MY GALLERY WILL BE PUT INTO STORAGE SOON AND THE IMAGES WILL NOT BE ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC. IF YOU REALLY LIKE A PIECE, DOWNLOAD IT FOR YOUR OWN USE.

This isn't an "OMG LEAVING dA FOREVAR" post, it's a "I'm going into a professional career and need to only show my best art online" post. So..yeah. Anything that I believe does not reflect my current talent will be put away soon, and anything "controversial" removed. I may in time load the images back up with stamps for what year they reflect, but for now, mass-storage is just easier. Things like the WoW stamps will remain up. I'm proud to see how far across dA they've made it, but I've just lost interest. I haven't played since April to be honest.

TL;DR, save my old art for private use as you may not see it again for a long, long while in the next couple of weeks.

If I have time to myself, I'll draw and upload better art. I'm still watching everything you guys put out, but for now I'm stepping back for a bit.

I'm not dead!

Due to my trying to change my major and GPA grinding, I don't update as often as I'd like. If you're looking for my furry art, it is almost exclusively posted at [link] now, not here.

Also, my commission prices have gone up. I've spent nearly 4 years in art school learning all sorts of trades, and believe that my personal growth merits a better price now. I have discontinued prints due to lack of interest, and the prices for avatars and badges have remained the same. Sketches, inks and colors have been raised in price.
